Holy Trinity Alexander Nevsky Lavra is a male Orthodox monastery at the eastern end of Nevsky Prospekt in St. Petersburg. The first and largest monastery of the city. Since 1797 it has the status of a laurel.
The structure of the architectural complex includes several famous necropolises, where many outstanding figures of the XVIII-XIX centuries rest.
